We at Jewish Heritage in Lita mourn the untimely passing of Rabbi Dovid Kamenetsky z"l, Head of Machon Pirkei Eliezer and distinguished member of our Rabbinic Advisory Board.
He was the quintessential Lithuanian Torah scholar, educator and expert on Lithuanian Torah Heritage, particularly of the Vilna Gaon. His many works have gained wide praise and acclaim. He was an active partner in our holy work from the outset, and we are deeply saddened that our fervent prayers for his recovery at the tomb of the Gaon in Vilna went unanswered.
We wish sincere condolences to his wife and entire illustrious family.
